Raw Biomass Intake

Wheat straw, paddy stubble, cotton stalk, mustard husk or other agricultural residue arrives at the yard — usually loose, baled, or in bulk trailers. This is the raw material Punjab already produces in enormous volume every harvest.

Shredding

The dual-roller shredder (or round-bale shredder, for whole bales) cuts material down to a consistent, manageable size — the first real reduction from field-scale bulk to processable feedstock.

Pulse Jet Dust Collection

Shredding throws up fine dust. The pulse jet system pulls it through a bag filter and cleans itself with automatic reverse-air pulses, so the plant stays compliant and breathable without interrupting the line.

Hammer Mill Grinding

Shredded material feeds into the hammer mill, where swinging hammers pulverise it into a fine, even powder. Screen size is chosen to match the exact particle size the pellet die needs downstream.

Drying (When Needed)

If moisture content is above what the pellet mill needs (10–12%), a rotary or flash dryer brings it down first. Skipped for already-dry feedstock, this stage is what determines pellet strength and shelf life.

Ring-Die Pelletising

Fine, moisture-controlled powder is fed — via automatic or twin-screw feeder — into the ring-die pellet mill. Rollers press it through hardened die holes under heat and pressure, binding it into dense pellets using nothing but the biomass’s own natural lignin.

Cooling, Screening & Bagging

Fresh pellets are hot and slightly soft straight off the die. They’re cooled, screened to remove fines and broken pellets, then conveyed to bagging or bulk storage — ready to fuel a boiler, furnace or gasifier.
